Ida Elizabeth Moody

Ida Elizabeth Moody, 86, of Du Quoin, passed away at 8:05 A.M., Friday, February 7, 2003 at her residence.
Ida was a retired lab technician and had worked at Marshall Browning Hospital in Du Quoin from 1944 until 1997 when she retired.  She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Du Quoin.
She was born January 31, 1917 at Pinckneyville, IL, the daughter of George Henry and Elizabeth (Hepp) Albers.
She married William Gayle Moody on January 31, 1937 at Du Quoin, IL and he preceded her in death on March 5, 1969.
She is survived by one daughter - Karen Goodwin of Du Quoin, grandchildren - Larry Goodwin Jr. and wife Kristy of Du Quoin and Laurie Kellerman and husband James of Du Quoin, great grandchildren - Ryan Goodwin, Courtney Kellerman and Paige Kellerman,  great great grandchild - Cole Allen Goodwin and one sister - Joyce Pick of Du Quoin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers - George Albers and Edward Albers, and son-in-law - Larry G. Goodwin Sr.
Funeral services were at 1:00 P.M., Monday, February 10, 2003 at Bethel Lutheran Church at Du Quoin with Rev. John E. Johnson officiating.
Friends called from 7 to 9 P.M., Sunday at Bethel Lutheran Church and from Noon to 1 P.M., Monday at the church.
Interment was in the Sunset Memorial Park at Du Quoin.
